Default MKS servo wheels ?

I'm thumbing thru a bunch of build photos and I am seeing mks servo installed with what looks like stock mks servo wheel installed. I'm finding the the hole spacing in servo wheel isn't the same spacing that is used on synergy's carbon control arm.

Did you drill new holes or open up exsisting holes in either the wheel or carbon arm? I realize I can use futaba wheels on the mks servo's but I was just wondering what's up. Or, by chance are you using align servo wheels? They seem to have the same looking hole pattern as mks.

Thanks

If you want to use the stock wheels drill new holes. I also grind down the diameter to match the carbon arms.

+1, drill and size to fit.

Otherwise, a bag of Futaba D Wheel servo horns is the easy route.

Futaba wheels! I use MKS servos on Synergy birds & u can get the same wheel for under a buck each at Servo City... Actual Futaba wheels are almost $4 each.. I can't see a difference between them.

Which ones do you get at Servo City? The ones I'm looking at are the same price $3.20 per wheel!

I wish someone would sell D wheels in bulk. You can get a set of Savox SH22P... at least you get a full set of horns for $3 and it includes the proper wheel. SH22M is the same set of horns but it's $4. Only difference is the screw - apparently a machine screw costs $0.70 more than a tapping screw because hobby prices.

I am using MKS servos with their aluminum wheels. I got the carbon servo arms from www.customheliparts.com that are made for the MKS wheels.

Those are definitely the way to go for X8 servos with huge output splines. I'm running a couple sets of them as well.

They have them for both the X8 and X6 servos. I run the HBL960 with the X6 wheels.
