Any support available on Parts or are the Raves dead ?

The problem is right now there is no way for customers to show there is a demand other than email them. If CYE allowed back orders on their retail shop then that could change. Sadly with import duties etc it makes flying a Rave in the UK expensive if we have to order parts direct but at least it would make things possible.

All of the Helicopters I fly I have import parts. The local shops dont carry very much for my Helicopters. I bring in everything I need. I usually try to have most of the parts in my own stock. Although I always seem like I am missing something. Just part of the hobby for me.

You can use Century gasser skids. You can get them from the Heli Farm. Email Dennis. There may be other links that work.

I found a landing gear set and frame spacer / landing gear mount at a hobby shop in Aus. $52 for the parts and $25 for shipping!

I own too many helis now that are no longer being sold, helis or parts. Time to sell my favorite heli! "It was a good run while it lasted!"

My throttle servo failed resulting in a hot start. I think I sprung the clutch because it is too tight to idle after replace the liner, it is out of round. The shop I found on CY's website is Drones/Helis in Hong Kong. I am giving them a try, $20 shipping to USA.

I have since built (from a balastic, and ENV) a Logo 690, synergy e5, n5, e7, protos max v2, minicopter diabolo and only one holds a candle to the curtis birds is the mnicopter (which is very nice).

I received the clutch and clutch liners yesterday, so only 5 days from Hong Kong, good communication too. I had to sign for the package. I chose the less expensive option than Speedpost but obviously did not have to wait long. As long as they have Rave parts we are going to be OK. Time to go out and run my ENV, just got a fresh case of fuel

Yes, The Rave is easy to work on and flies great. Great quality and awesome design.

Would like to try a Diabolo some day but very high price.
