Default this bird is cool

Just received one of my new to me mcpx. This little bird is pretty powerful compared to the nano cps. Couple test flights in and it seems it needs some tlc. Any little bump and the swash come apart and the AL tail is bent in a couple spots. Other than that it seems pretty good. Has a mind of its own at takeoff though lol. Easier to take off in idle up mode. Just got to get used to the no stability like the cps

Definitely get an aluminum swash.

Yeah, the mCPX's are sweet little heli's.
Pretty tough and relatively easy to work on.

I've got one that I installed the 4 blade set-up from the AH-64 Apache.
Very nice little flying machine.

Absolutely the best most rugged heli ever. I've crashed it hundreds of time and after the micro heli aluminum swash was added the only other problem iced had is the carbon extended tail coming off, but I just cut it clean and reglue it back in. Did put on the carbon landing gear which is much wider and helpful.

Indeed great helicopter. Was flying over last weekend at the playground of local school. A sparrow was darting, investigating the mcpx. Called out to my son "look at the bird". Later, take-off with new battery, hover, out of the left side a blur and contact, the object and mcpx crashed to earth (pavement). It was the little sparrow. Replaced drive gear, straightened push rods, reassembled and flew. Could not help the crashed sparrow, it is now in the big sky above.. (sadly it died)
