Heliheads Flying Club of Arden, NC located in the Blue Ridge Mountains cordially invites you to attend our 7th annual fun-fly.
We welcome anyone willing to sacrifice their helicopters in the pursuit of a good time.

The event will kick off Friday June 29th at 5:00pm and last until 5pm Sunday July 1st. Friday and Saturday night flying is on the schedule. Pilot registration will be Saturday morning at 8:00am. A landing fee of $20.00 will include a Saturday lunch with free beverages throughout the entire event sponsored by Pepsi of Asheville, NC. Space for camping and or RV's is limited so please RSVP. Current AMA required for registration. Spectators are welcome and lunch can be purchased for $5.00

Saturday will feature Pro pilots Matt Botos, Henry Caldwell, and Marcus Kim to insure a great show of top flying. This is a helicopter only event due to limited space at our field. RSVP's are welcome and appreciated.

Escape the heat of the dog days of summer and come cool off for a great event!

Can't wait to attend Bill. Looks like at least my camper, a Motorhome and possibly Tony Whiteside's campers will be on the other side of the chow line. Should be a lot of fun!!

i will be there with my family, my first funfly cant wait!!!
hope there's a spot for my wife to drive her rc car?
is there power at the field? if not how are you guys going to charge your batterys, off your cars?
i dont have a set up to charge off my car. what to do? mybe someone will let me charge my batterys off there stuff? trying to think of anything i might need to bring, any tips i am a noob

redsoper, bring the wife and the car. Will have a 5K watt generator onsite, plenty of power. Bring extention cord possibly.

If anyone has nightbirds, bring them, going to be a great event.

Yes , the fireworks will be provided by yours truly - EFS when I plant my remaining Synergy N5 into the field - Likely wont be at night, but the crash will more than make up for the light conditions!

update, the wife just bought a 12x12 canopy and some folding chairs for the funfly
just to give you guys a heads up on who's comming with me, it will be my wife,daughter,and my father...oh the dogs, i think i will have to get a hotel for the dogs, anyone know of a hotel close by?
i am about to go on r&r so EXCITED to be home and go to a funfly.
Rotorholic how will i find you at the funfly???
