Tail blades size
I am thinking of increasing the tail blades size while lower the RPM. Using 610mm main blades, could I use 105mm tail blades?

Yes you can. You might have issues with the blades hitting the ground sometimes if you fly off of grass. Add a spacer to the back skids to elevate the tail and you should be fine.

I did the same with my fusion, goblin 630 blades, and 105 mm in tail. It runs nice.
As the friend said, be careful with the blades hitting de ground. I made a custom tail with a dremel, a cm longer than the original. Regards. |

Once upon a time, OnTheSnap countered with this argument:

OTS can strip a tt gear by looking at it.
You mentioned lower head speed so also not as much of an issue. I changed my tail grips and hub to an Align one which uses 3mm bolts. Don't use the KBDD @ 105mm. Those will be super heavy and may cause issues. |

Interesting that I can change the tail grips. I was hoping to use the Halo 105mm tail blades. For the Align parts, are they from the 600? If yes, which model specifically?

600N or E grips. Same part. A bit of mod is needed for the links but easy to file down. You need the hub as well.

I just checked, and the tail grip cap screw is actually M3. I won't need Align parts.
