As long as you let us know what the secret trials were, we will forgive you!

Good to have you back. You are not the only one who hasn't been a faithful forum member and I doubt we'll be the last.

Judging by Erwin's previous achievements its probably a 1:1 scale remote control A380

And he's probably trying to have Raf fly it indoors

As Andy said, you've been missed, Erwin.

I dont understand all the fuzz, I see Erwin way too much, like every week or so.

Serious now, he can't tell anything about that secret project, it's a thing we're doing together, and we'll report more if we would succeed. Probably in a month or so, maybe two. Let's just say it's by far our most challenging project we ever started. And we really need both our combined skills to have the smallest chance to succeed. Enough said now, lol. The way to fame and glory can be very steep and rough.

Yep, a small project I like to see all the way true, I bought a parasail from hobbyking and the matching buggy ending in multiple hand takeoff craches.
The result :
I"ve ordered 2 more sails and I am now building my own trike to do ground takeoffs.
Just having fun to build

Sorry to say, model size
I came to the conclusion that altough I can hover a heli like an expert, I can't fly , not a heli and not a model plane.
So the instructors at my club are doing there best to get me in the air with my funcub
I've made some indoor planes who are "unbreakable " my "indoor flying objects" just to learn to fly and the only thing I've succeeded in is that everyone who crashed in mid air with my planes had to go home with a pile of depron

After months of preparation, we’re getting closer to finishing our "secret" project, technically but also as far as organization and paperwork goes. July 14th is the date to watch, weather permitting. It involves an attempt to break some official (= FAI approved), RC model related world record.
That’s all I can tell for now, I don’t want anybody to steal any of our stupid or insane ideas. But despite the smiley, we're in fact very serious about this...
