VTX must be designed for the original TDR excells in the low rpm regime, run 697 or 717 for a real floaty TDR. Best alround blades ever.
Rail and Radix works well and are nearly equal in performance.

They were actually based on Logo 690 so weight is similar to classic TDR setup.
I have 697's I'll try out and Log, thinking 717's will be too floaty a feel and over amp either my J80Hv or Jive Pro 120 unless i keep the revs way down. I'll give a rip too with my buds Rail 696's. Anyone try any of the RotorTech mains? I love their tails and will be bolting on some 105's on my machine.

Main blades for the "old" TDR 1
I have always used Rail 696, great blades. I tried Rail 716s once and found it way too floaty. I have recently got a pair of Align 700s to try after trying 780s on my Protos and liking them a lot. I also got 550s for my Diabolo and they were great. Hoping they will be good on the TDR.

I have to agree with Aziz. I tried a set of 780 on my Synergy 766 and really liked them. I also recommended them to a friend to use on his TDR2 and he is impressed. Next time I need a set of blades for my TDR I will try the 700. They look like the Radix V2 but lighter.

Good to know.
For a speed blade has anyone tried the SAB BlackLine Speed? If spec are correct they are 215g each in 720mm. https://www.rotorquest.com/index.php...4300&limit=100

I had a set of SAB speed blades on Goblin speed last year. I also had xblades and Rail F3C/speed blades. They performed really well and did not have a tendency to pitch up. This was a 14s setup with Bert Dekker 4535 500kv motor. Average speed runs in 145 mph consistently. So I would think the black line will perform in the same way. If I remember mine were 221 grams.

Rail blades come highly recommended for speed if you don't want to get the
X713S Speed blades which are "currently" the best production speed blades out there. However their value doesn't really present itself unless you are getting near 150mph. The TDR1 requires a full fuse to reach those speeds. The TDR2 can reach that speed with it's regular canopy.
