Default Homemade Canopy

Hi folks,
sorry, I'm not around here very often.
I fly a little V911 and just about manage to keep it in the air...LOL

Anyway - I got tired of this torpedo-style canopy that most helicopters have and decided to make myself one that looks a bit more realistic.
It's easy to build, just print it on card stock, scale it to any size you like and it should fit most helicopters, you may just have to move the holes around. For glazing use clear plastic sheets, like for example overhead projector foil or similar.
The enclosed pattern is scaled for the V911 the way it is but can be used for just about anything you can attach this to..
Enjoy!

And here a couple of in-flight pictures. Had to practice flying with one hand so I could take pictures with the other...LOL

Dear admins,
I'm not sure if I put this thread in the right forum. If I didn't, please feel free to move it where it should go.

Thanks

Nice job.

I vacuum formed a somewhat scale Huey cano for one of my mCPX's.

It was a fun project. Going to make one for a 450 next.

Have you finished it yet? I wouldn't mind seeing it.

That's not a bad idea actually, I might have a go at doing it the other way round tho.
