Default Carbon pushrod flexes

hi, just arrived my flying sport carbon pushrod, but it flexes so much
during flight i have big bounce after pyro stop
with stock pushrod it was perfect
why??
carbon pushrod must be completely filled or vacuum?
my seems to be vacuum and it flexes so much, it is normal, or i have bought a clone pushrod??

I just found a carbon tube that fits over the stock ball links and glued them in. Much lighter and stiffer. That said, the pushrod is not likely the cause of your piro bounce I suspect the stiffer rod just requires a slightly lower gain.

with stock pushrod, gain 61%, perfect pyro stop without bounce
carbon pushrod, gain 60%, visible bounce to right stop, lower gain is a bad idea, it not hold well down 60%
i think that this pushrod would be good to increase gain and run smooth tail
but in the video, it have same behaviour that your carbon pushrod??
thanks, because i don't understund, all consider him an important upgrade

I have a carbon pushrod with heatshrink on both ends where the ball link ends affix to the rod. I have almost 30% of the flex that you have in your vid there. Although my carbon pushrod appears to be a bit thicker as well. You might have just gotten a hold of a clone pushrod.

i didn't buy it to helidirect or completeheli, but in europe
the code is FS1209, it seem to be original Flying sport

it is normal that diameter is 2mm, and not 3mm??

I got mine from Helidirect and it flexes at least as much as yours. It's pretty disappointing. It feels like it's made out of plastic.

You guys are measuring wrong. The force is down the length of the rod not perpendicular to it. Compare the metal rod to the carbon and try to push the ends together and you will see that the carbon rod is alot stiffer. Also you will be applying way more force to bend it than what the tail needs to move it. Your bouncing most likely is gyro/ servo related.

You could try the Gaui 255 pushrod. It seems to be only slightly shorter than the stock pushrod, but it it is 3mm. Also, it is considerably cheaper than the Flying sport pushrod.

I just ordered 2 myself.

i have read this document
but not do in practice the solutions
today i increased throttle curve and moreover travel adjustment until 110 with spektrum
now servo is too fast, pyroette finally fast, and stop, wowwww, as a 450 pro
very very precise, with gain 60% spektrum
i thinked that increased travel adjustement servo will become very fast and during stop i have had big bounce
but not, i have a faster servo, but precise pyro stop
now i love my 250, i will try only microheli grips to increase control
at end carbon pushrod is bad for me , not precise stop, while with stock pushrod tail stops GREAT

Then why not just go back to the stock pushrod if it was so good?

Do you have the ball link sizer tool?

http://www.helidirect.com/ball-link-...250-p-8716.hdx

Maybe your links are tight?

Glad you got it working.
