600E conversion kit to nitro?

Hey all who read this!
I'm just wondering if someone makes a electric to nitro conversion kit for the 600e. A lot of people tend to convert the opposite way but, I love the nitro engines and love tinkering. I can't find anything about it from those who probably did it already.
Didn't know whether to post this in the 600 nitro or 600 electric threads......

The 600E frame is 4mm narrower than the 600N, there is no space for the fuel tank and the engine won't fit in that space. There is no provision for the clutch and the start mechanism mount either.

Huh. I thought it was a matter of swapping out a few parts but, it's more like swapping out the entire heli. I'll bet things like the boom would fit, but that's prob about it.
Guess I'll have to build the heli part by part as I can afford it like I did my electric 600.
I just got back into the whole nitro rc truck/car thing and now I want a nitro heli more than ever. Love the smell and tinkering involved.
7mm thick frame? Wow! Those pieces must be expensive. I wonder if there's a clone of one out. (Don't think so.)

Well last time I checked, when I converted my Nitro to Electric, I only needed 2mm spacers on each side of the motor mount 2+2=4

We are talking the width between the side frames and not the frame thickness. The standard frame thickness is 1.6mm or like I have upgraded to a stronger 2mm thick frames.

Oh, i get it. And now i see why it's way easier to convert N to E rather than the opposite.
Oh well. Couldn't hurt to ask tho.

boomkidd, you might want to think twice about a nitro heli cause there's more upkeep involved, along with the cost of nitro fuel going up in price and the the cost of lipo batteries coming down in price. I think that I will stick with my electric helis a little bit longer and see how pricing on the nitro fuel goes compared to the cost of the lipo's.

You'll never find a nitro that can match the power and low-end torque of an electric.

Really? The power is less? I thought the opposite...they have some gigantic engines for these heli's...but, I only know the nitro w/ rc trucks, not heli's. I do love my 450 and 600 electrics but, I guess i'll just stick to electric...o well.

If you are running a stock motor you might feel it is slightly under powered but those don't last for ever and when it finally gives up the ghost you will be in a position to go for a more powerful motor There is a choice out there.

keep the electric. If you want a nitro for the sake of just having a nitro bird, then just go buy a used nitro bird.

Electrics will always have the ability to out power the nitro of similar sized birds. For example. A typical nitro engine for a 50 size heli is 1.9hp to about 2.4hp which equates to about 1.4Kw to 1.7Kw. If you look at the current motor technology, a motor of that wattage is very basic considering the number of motors that are in the 2.5-3Kw range that are being put in to a 600 size bird. Remember a 90 size nitro bird has a Hp rating of around 3.5 - 4.0. So that's basically like putting a 90 nitro engine into your 600.

Seems like the best advice. If you want a nitro, just buy a nitro.

Makes sense. I actually don't want a nitro bird now. If anything, I'll invest $ in more lipos for the 600e. Maybe i'll upgrade the stock motor...only thing left stock on it. I like the stock motor though...no complaints here.
