Default I am stumped...!! please help!

Ok I have an EP8 that has been flying glitch free for several months. yes I know this the the t rex forum ( have two of those too But it has to to with BECs and transmitters on electric helis so it can be relevant to all....

The problem...
after a 2 week grounding due to holidays I came back and went to fly. with consequences..... motor cut at about 10m ..Autoed it safely.
then thought it was the connection from the motor at the time and went for a second flight after rechecking all the connections..got about 4m out in front and was glitching all over the place ..managed to land the bird without any problems.

Equipment:
EP8
5v hobby wing BEC
Schultz 8ch RX with glitch counter (quality better the Berg) Non PCM)
Lim's home made glitch detector and counter ( great invention!!!!! counts glitches and beeps how many and flashes to show when exactly and for how long the glitch occurred!! )
JR 9x2 TX on 40Mhz

the tests.

Tested the heli on the ground was not able to get 4m from it without it going nuts ( antenna down)
though it was the tx ..
tested the tx with my T rex.... ok but only about 20m out with the antenna down..should be able to get further. ( have a deans on the Rex)

though it was the module.....
took it to Ah Tat ( local dealer) and we did several tests ..on 29mhz it was useless (even on PCM) but after taking out the antenna and cleaning the bottom where it makes contact with the Tx with fine sand paper it looked to be fine. ( only short range indoor test were done 20m, in the shopping centre.) and on 40mhz after the cleaning)

second round of tests....
tested the range again from home ..still not good ..now I can get about 10m before it goes nuts. So I took out the RX thinking, its the RX has gone ..plugged a 4s battery pack in and went for a range test. Got full range!!!!!??? placed the RX back in the heli and plugged the BEC in and did a test again ..only <10 m ranged now before it goes nuts now again!!

Replaced the BEC with a 4s RX pack ........ 20m range ( all of this with the antenna down )

though it could be the voltage of the BEC so replaced the BEC with an other one ....still the same distance < 10m the second BEC has a 6v setting so switched to that ..no difference.

I am stumped...

-externally the RX works fine with battery pack (25m)
-with BEC it only gets <10m ( note all this is done with the ESC arming only servos)
- with battery pack and mounted on heli 20m not too bad... I dont want to fly with a 4s pack on ....

what in the BEC can be doing this????
both BECs are Linear type would switching be better???

I am stumped
please sugestions?

Default

yep did the re routing of RX ...... the position I have it now is the best.
the BEC is at the back of the heli RX at the front but still glitches even if I have it my hand 30cm away from the frame and take it past 8 m

basicly I have tried 3 differnt BEC's two Linear and one switching all all give glitching after 10m but on batteries there is no glitching.

starting to think its somthing with the RX some filter or somthing is gone might try a cap one the line and your idea of the ring....
