well if you look at this page
http://www.rcbooya.com/align-700-series.html
they don't have a model for 700 Pro DFC. I am thinking it might be the
700E DFC HV
Part # 7DFCQRCM

I tried to email them through their website but have not heard back.

Looks like they just changed the wording around, because before the HV set ups came out and they were just 700 pro dfc, but now that there's an HV kit they probably just added the HV in the title. The mounts are the same, still a pro style frame and canopy, you should be fine. You can always send them an email to make sure, but they should be the same.

I did get email from RCBooya. They asked me what the standoff is. I measure it and it is pretty small, only 7.3mm. RCB says their shortest standoffs are 10mm and that I can try those and see if they work. So that is the current plan.

Note that the standoffs for the 700E DFC HV are 14mm. I don't know where they got that number because it looks the same as the 700L.

Those are 14mm long while the stock mounts are only 7.3mm. Why are the Booya mounts so much longer than the stock mounts?

You are probably looking at the 7ERQRCM that came out before the longer pro style canopy. It was a DFC frame, but shorter canopy. Look down on the page.

I'm sorry, your right. Maybe they're longer because they need the length to get both the screw and the quick release pin inside it?

you cant compare the stock mounts to the rcbooya mounts because they are 100% different. just trust me and everyone else telling you that they are the right ones for the heli. i promise if you buy the ones i told you to get that they will be the right ones.

very good upgrade btw. i dont know how anyone can use those stock mounts after seeing the benefits of the quick release style.

Thanks guys. I ordered these from Amain
http://www.amain.com/RCBooya-T-Rex-7...unts-4/p298069

The part number has a "4" and and "E" added compared to the number on the rcbooya site but I think it is the same thing.

I am totally sold on the rcbooya product. I have them on my other 700's. It was just a matter of getting the right ones for a 700L. I am still unclear why the standoff distance is different than stock but I guess the canopies have some flex to them.

so just to close the loop, I installed the mounts I linked above. They are in fact 14mm. They do fit but they do put the canopy further out from the frame compared to the stock mounts. The front ones are more of stretch to get the pins to clear the mounts. Jeff from RCBOOYA has said he is sending me a pair of 10mm mounts which are the shortest he has. I will probably install those in the front.

In my opinion, RCBOOYA should shorten the mounts they sell for the 700DFC's. The 14mm mounts are almost twice as long as the stock mounts. Although they work, they do not need to be that long.

Let me know when you get the 10mm ones. I am interested in a pair. The stock rubber grommet situation is... unfavorable.

I received the 10mm ones and discussed it with RCBOOYA (Jeff). They won't easily work on a T700. They are designed for a Goblin. Just get the 14mm ones.
Either
Part # 7DFCQRCM on the RCBOOYA page or
http://www.amain.com/RCBooya-T-Rex-7...unts-4/p298069
from Amain which is a little better price. I have those installed both front and rear. yes, they stick out a little further than the stock Align ones but they do work and work well.

The issue is this. The ones designed for Align have an internal threaded hole at the base. Extra length is needed for this. The Align models have a screw coming from the inside of the frame going out through the frame. The stock or booya mounts simply screw on to that screw.

The 10mm ones have no threaded hole at their base. Instead they have a screw that drops into the mount and sits flush at the bottom. The screw is smaller than the 3mm Align screw and not long enough to get to the inside of the frame where you would need to put a nut. So to use the 10mm ones you would need a long screw and nuts. Again, they were designed for a Goblin.

So just use the 14mm ones.

Thanks. I will order them. RC booya owes you a small commission it would seem. Ha. Thanks again.
