Even though the military of ANY nation is completely different then a capitalistic company and has ZERO bearing on this..that is where you went...but I'll play along. Well...hmmmm...let me see....US Military, right? Everything that impacts the DOD (as a whole, not branch specific) effects a sailor the same way it does a solider, right? The repeal of Don't Ask, Don't tell didn't just involve the Army, did it? So in some respects..in a VERY broad sense..yup. In the average sense of course not. But if a 4 star general comes to me and tells me to do something that isn't illegal, I still have to do it even though I sure as heck am not in the Army. |

You just proved my point. And, are you a civilian? If so and if you think you have to do anything anyone in the military tells you to do (without declaring martial law) then you got problems well beyond this.

Only point I proved is that HH owns both eflite and blade: hence same company.
Notice that you won't discuss the comparison of heli's that still exist from eflite being on the box and now only have blade. CX2 is the same (though not sure that one is still being made), SR, and mSR as well. Both of those are still in production. And thanks for the assumption and the little lol emoticon....you honestly think I would do something a general or admiral told me to do if I was a civilian? Don't you think I would use a different analogy if I wasn't active duty? |

You never said they weren't both owned by HH..and I never said they were the same division...yet you chose to read my post that way for some reason. I said they were the same company. Never once said the same division. Here it is again. Please point out where I said the same division. And then I pointed out that it doesn't matter if they are the same division...didn't say they were, didn't tell you that you were wrong...Nope. Just pointed out that an Eflite SR sucks as much as a Blade SR. And I'm committed to my SR and making it the best heli it can be without major component upgrades!! So again, without saying you were wrong...because you weren't...just that the average person who uses blade products doesn't CARE.... Quote:
Where exactly was I wrong? What did I say that was wrong? That they were the same company? That it doesn't make a difference? Well let's see....how does the name change affect YOU? Can you say for 100% that the "problem child" of a 130x (YOUR words..not mine) would be better or worse if the Eflite name had stayed on the box? Do you work for Blade to where it matters to you? Does that new structure that has never been discussed change their sale prices? Not that I have seen. I bet you can't and you don't. Could be wrong...but I doubt it. So what exactly was I wrong about here? You are the one that started this by continuing to claim that I am wrong on some mystical or magical level, so please..enlighten me. |

When in doubt..dip out. Got ya.
Thanks for trying. Guess if you are allowed to make assumptions I will to, you must be Army. |

See what an assumption got me? That's why I don't make them.
Though your replies do line up with what I expect from an academy officer (NOT an insult and NOT referring to the completely unnecessary insults your thru my way... referencing your necessity to break it down to the details. I.E. that they are different DIVISIONS.) |

Hey WH1_T-type - I'd say you won this argument a long time ago, why continue exchanging jabs with helifanatic99? It's like you are arguing with a 2 year old. Just let him take a time-out.

Eh...less winner/loser and more just discussing two sides of the same coin...which I realized and was just trying to get that across....
but oh well. I think maybe I'll do some work on my Turbo Buick for a bit instead (which is the source of my screen name btw). |

Nobody cares about "this issue", that's not what I was referring to.

I had no intent on starting any arguments, I was just curious if i was the only one who owned multiple eflite helicoptors. at the time all mine did say eflite on them except the tandom, but i was using an eflite transmitter on it and cannot recall what the box says.
I guess the confusion will continue because if you go to http://www.bladehelis.com/Helis/ you will see pictures of 2 heli's with eflite on the canopys still. I did not mean to insult anyone by associating eflite with blade. To me the only difference i have noticed is packaging of spare parts both products are supported by horizon which in the past has had great service. my Elite battery that came with my Blade nano is now charged using the included eflite charger so I will go fly it now |

My Collection of E-Flite Helicopters
In this day and age, the Blade line of products is a good bet for any beginner (like me) to learn how to fly an electric helicopter. I started my entry into this RC world on November 24, 2012 and it has been a fast paced ride to catch-up from all the lost fun over the past 20+ years when I really wanted to get into the hobby. The models I own in their order of purchase are:
1. Blade 120 SR (this should have been my 3rd purchase) 2. Blade MCPx (this should have been the 4th purchase) 3. Blade mCX2 (THIS one should have been the 1st purchase) 4. Blade mSRX (this should have been the 2nd purchase) 5. Blade CX3 (I'm a sucker for the police body on this bird, but I'm still working out some of the bugs to get it to fly right after purchasing it on eBay). In addition, I now have a Beam E4 plus body parts for 2 more that came with a Spektrum DX7 TX, an Align 450 Sport, an Align Trex 250 and I built an Align Trex 500 ESP. Since I was so new to the building part I had to get some expert help from Cyclone Hobbies to finish the setup and to replace the horrible Align GP780 gyro with a Spartan Quark that works great. I also purchased a Spektrum DX8 and am learning how to program it for many of the birds in this paragraph. Next year I hope to get a larger bird; maybe a Trex 550 or a 600 or another brand or model in a similar size. Any recommendations for anyone who owns one of these or a similar model would be most appreciated. |
