I think I can share my build in this section. Not much to show right now but I intent to finish it within a moon so a lot of pics will come soon. Will post first pics tonight.

The working area will be like 60x40x15cm. I'll use it for making some heli parts and guitar body routing. Especially Ibanez S type bodies.

I intended yesterday to take those pics I promised but I was very tired so I went to sleep. I promise I'll post them tonight.

I'm still waiting for 4x linear rail blocks and rails but I have everything else they are ready to build.

I hope to get the Y axis linear rails and blocks tomorrow. I like the THK products but this time I buy the cheaper Chinese ones. I'll post the pics of them when I get them.

It's a custom build. I'm going to use Solidworks.

Solidsworks is pretty nice, i know Inventor but have not used solidworks. Alot of people say they are similar in ways.

Do you mind sharing a ballpark figure of how much $ you might have wrapped up into this build? Getting curious about cnc setups as I'd like something for doing prototypes. It wouldn't be cutting all day long everyday, but I wouldn't want to buy something unreliable either. Something in the middle I suppose.
