Default Got some work done.

Spent some time on the Pantera yesterday. Had to make a part in order to get the throttle barrel to work on the YS 60sr that I just installed. Managed to get that working without issues. Used some aluminum stock to extend the barrel and held it in place with a M3x15mm bolt. Figured this should be fine as it does not take a lot of torque to move the throttle.
Next step is to update the CGY-750 and get it all set up. Thinking about replacing the tail servo just in case. Reason, I was chasing a tail issue before the last crash. Possibly causing the belt to vibrate when the belt pulley went bad. Ultimately resulting in the tail not being driven at speed causing the heli to do an uncontrolled spin. Just in case you guys can't remember, it was installed upside down (not by me as I got the heli used and missed this when I went through the heli).

Don't feel bad, that would be easy to miss.

Default yep

Ah, I don't feel bad. It was something to learn from. Yes, costly mistake but something to learn from. Sometimes the best way to learn is from making mistakes. Now, I fully disassemble a used heli that I buy just to make sure everything is correct. When I was working in a hobby shop on used helis, I lost count on how many screws and bolts were installed on other peoples helis without thread lock. On one heli that I got my hands on, every screw was glued in place. These screws would have never come loose. The problem was that the guy never thought that he would have to replace anything. Even the main shaft was glue to the bearings. It was a pain in the shorts and many hours to get that heli apart to replace items.
