Default Question

I have by BD3SX mounted upside down, cables facing forward. This is set in the software.

If I have all servo directions in "normal" on my TX, and only use the software to reverse/normal servos in order to get correct direction - then the FBL corrects in the wrong direction.

However when I instead reverse in the TX, then it corrects as it should.

I've tried all kinds of combinations with servo, elevator and aileron direction.

Same goes for the tail, has to reverse it in the TX otherwise the sensor direction is the wrong way.

This should work fine. But I was curious if I had missed anything, since it's stated that all servos should be set to normal in the TX.

I cannot see anywhere in the software where to reverse the sensor directions. So my guess is that this is "automatic" from the FBL placement (but does not seem to work).

Anyone?

You don't explicitly set feedback direction.

1. Go on Diagnose screen. Move your sticks and make sure the bars move the right way for your sticks. Ignore actually servo directions. In fact, you don't even need servos connected at this point. Use TX reverses to correct any bars moving backwards.

2. Then, connect your servos and use the Mixer page to get actual servo directions correct. Never use a TX reverse at this point.

I f you do 1 and 2 correctly and have the correct mounting position selected, the feedbacks should be correct. If not, you did something wrong in 1 and 2.

If you follow the wizard very carefully, it will guide you through all of this.
