Default OWB sleeve slop

I have been chasing this 45 degree tail right kick when I would give any kind of collective punch. I went through all of the usual suspects tail shaft bearings in everything, Torque tube, all gears. I also went into the Gpro software and adjusted precomp and gain all with no success. Finally as I was putting things back together I noticed some slop in the OWB and the sleeve. It was enough slop that the OWB wasn't working properly. I had to dig around to find a good combination sleeve and OWB to find one that worked.

Has anyone ever had this before. I for one have never had this happen. The original OWB was brand new it is the sleeve that seems to be a bit under sized. I am hoping that is the cause for my tail kicks. I just thoght I wopuld find out if anyone else has had problems with the OWB out of the package like this having all this slop? Thanks for listening everyone I'll get out to test it tomorrow and I will post my results later.

It could be... the owb could be catching and releasing causing the tail kick since to the right is with the torque. Im not really sure of the slop your speaking of or atleast I cant picture it very well so maybe a pic would help?

I don't think a picture would really show much of the play. Basically the sleeve is just small enough so the one way doesn't catch 100% of the time.It can occasionally spin inside the bearing. Gotta be the problem.

Yah id say one or thw other is to blame. But if you tried multiple combinations of new parts then something doesnt seem right. I have a couple of one way bearings and hubs as well as the sleeves and have never had an issue w them being undersized or too big.

Are they made from different manufacturers? One align and the other tarot maybe?

To be perfectly honest I couldn't tell you which was the manufacturer of the sleeve. As far as the hub one is an Align part the other is not. I've ordered new parts so lets hope. I am getting very frustrated with this tail blow out especially when it was never an issue before.

If you've looked through the mechanics and everything seems good I would venture to say that you probably have it narrowed down to the likely source. Have you looked at your gains to make sure their high enough? Does gpro have an option for I gain for the tail?

Also what 450 is this? Have you done the grip flip or dremel mod to allow for equal pitch w the correct center counter torque?
