Wow, that thing is impressive! I love carbon fiber! It's a Porsche compared to my Volkswagon.

Well it's not really a Blade 400 - it's some franken-heli with a Blade motor

Agreed, IMO with the money spent on it he could have bought a Trex 450 V2.

t-rex? he could of had a better heli than a t-rex, he could of had a beam or miniture aircraft, or a compass, or something along those line`s.
if you are going to spend 600 buck`s or better, get something worth the money that`s better than a t-rex.

I agree with fast 400 it would have been much better to get a beam, those are good machines, and look cool to,but have to say the "BLADE 400" or not really a blade anymore is and looks cool

I appreciate the pos. feedback guys....The tail boom support cross brace is for a T-Rex 450. The tail boom supports I actually made...well sort of. I bought all of my Aluminum up-grades from Micro Heli ( except the cross brace) The tail boom supports had aluminum ends and used standard carbon fiber rods, I purchased aluminum tubing from the hardware store and sleeved the carbon rods, then glued the ends on like normal. Then polished them. I stay at work during the week so I don't have access to any of my links, but if you'd like to know where I found anything send me a PM and I'll gladly send you the link when I get home. I will say I got carried away with this Blade, some would say it was silly to spend that much money on it. I have a stock Blade 400 that I'm learning on also, I just wanted one that was tricked out too.

I just bought a 600 T-Rex and after that it will be a MSN Protos 500. To each his own, the Blade was my first real Heli and I like em. Some might think its silly to trick out a MCX or MSR... I say, "To each his own"

no man i`m not saying you wasted you`r money at all.
i like the way the blade look`s tricked out like that.
i was only saying to the other guy that there is alot better heli`s out there than a t-rex for the money spent for a t-rex.

and thank`s for the info of the boom support`s and cross brace, it does look pretty darn cool.
over on rcgroups.com, a cat is selling a beam e4 never flown right now for 175 buck`s.
you just need the electronic`s and servo`s, gyro etc.., but the kit originally is almost 400 buck`s.
if i had the money i promise you i`d have that beam in a heart beat. all cnc head &tail, just a nice heli, i`ve seen one up close and in action, awesome freaking heli.
