I absolutely LOVE it and you will too!It is quality German engineering at its best. You definitely get what you pay for. Vario makes a beautiful MBB Bo-105 fuselage for the Benzin Acrobatic... check it out here: http://us.vario-helicopter.biz/shop...oducts_id=38190 It's large size (five feet long fuselage) make it easy to see and give it a great presence in the air. Its 14.5 pound weight makes it rock solid in a hover even on windy days. Yet it is very fast 70 mph and agile. The Acrobatic is a VERY robust, durable and aerobatic helicopter. It is quite simply the most ideal all-purpose helicopter series available. Contrary to what nitro and electric guys erroneously think... The Benzin Acrobatic can do aerobatics with the best of them just a little slower with a LOT more grace. Check out this video:
It autorotates better than any helicopter I have ever flown with its high inertia 725mm wide chord rotor blades. Its Zenoah G240 engine runs best on 87 octane gasoline and is tuned for AMSOIL Saber Professional 2 cycle synthetic motor oil at a 50:1 ratio. Once the engine is warmed up there is absolutely no smoke (one reason I LOVE gassers). This helicopter flies for 35 minutes in normal mode. This helicopter was professionally built by Joe Howard of East Coast Scale helicopters last October. This is a beautiful, majestic helicopter. I added bright LED lights from XTEC to ensure I can bring her back when I fly far away. I have had tons of fun with this helicopter and I hate to sell such an awesome flying helicopter, but I need the money to finish out my Commercial Helicopter License. I have never crashed it, although I have had one hard landing in a botched auto, that required me to replace the plastic skid struts/cross members. Also, the main blades barely nicked the tail boom and there is a tiny dent. The aluminum bottom plate was slightly bent, but I was able to straigten it with vice grips. The helicopter still looks and flies great! So, for now, I am getting out of the hobby to pursue my dreams of flying full scale helicopters. Therefore, I will also include my JR X9503 radio with the helicopter. I am asking for $3,000 obo for this great set up with the JR radio included. If you already have a good quality radio and you just want to buy the helicopter BNF, then I'll drop it down to $2,500 obo. Buyer pays for shipping (around $120), PayPal fees and insurance. Thanks for looking.
