Just got back to the pits after collecting what is left of my logo that i put in hard. Havent looked at it real close but i think i lost my jive which really hurts.

The heli

The Jive ( looks like a cap has been wiped out )

The canopy split in two and was a bitch to put the fire out.

The good news is that with all of the fire and smoke it was easy to find in the beans

the battery was a 10s long pack and it was two 5s packs with a raging fire coming out of half of the cells. all electronics survived except for the motor and the jive. It is looking like a re-kit though. oh well i have not crashed in a long time.

WOW Hamslice... that is a BAD one. What happened, man? Mach 2 straight into the ground? Was the battery protected from the pinion with a plate or anything?? Just trying to see if this could happen to me...

high speed inverted low flybye caught the beans and it sucked right into the ground. I run a counterbearing so no pinion grinding. what happened is the frame broke right at the split section of the pack and ripped it into two 5s packs and shorted or punctured on impact.

just placed the repair order with readyheli. should have it back in the air by tuesday of next week. With any luck I will get the parts by saturday and be flying by saturday evening. It was probably one of the hardest impacts I have had in all my years of flying.

Just thought I'd add a few pics up of the 600SE, before it has a dirt nap!!

Using TP 3850MaH 30C Pro Power packs, I get a solid 6 minutes of 1900RPM, and the hardest 3D I can do. Also an easy 12 minutes of sport style flight at 1400RPM, only putting pack 2900MaH back into the packs.

Logo 600SE
VBar 5.0 Pro
Jive 80HV
Kontronik Pyro 700-45L
BLS 451's
BLS 251
Insane 693's
Edge 105's
