I wouldn't, but I know others have had success with them. Just be prepaired, they have the WORST soft start, ever!

Ragge, I've read that the 120A head some firmware issues but if you can flash it with the newest firmware it gets the same features/performance as 70A that you know very well from 6HV. Read it on HW site somewhere, imho it's worth trying, the 70A has a pretty nifty soft start.

Ok, as I have said, there are LOTS of people using HW esc's. I also know there are LOTS of people who have paid the price for doing so.

I am not a believer that an esc is something that you should go cheap on, it's just TOO important.

I only got the HW for my 600 because, at the time, CC had a recall and nothing else was available.
When it fried, I had flames clear out to the blades, and they were spinning!!! I was so fortunate that I had JUST landed. And, I do mean JUST. Had it happened up in the air there is no doubt in my mind that the heli would have come down in a molden state.

I'm not saying that you have to buy the best that is out there, but you should buy the best that you can afford. I would love to own a Jive, but let's be honest, it is one expensive piece of electronics.

So, here is what I do,,, research. Just make sure that whatever you buy you have researched it well.

I've got the 80A on my 500 and I agree, the supersoft start is "super" soft! It is also programmable by my Turnigy card, which is a big plus for me!
