Default Hisky section?

Would it be good to have a dedicated section for Hisky models here?

I'll start off with a tip for the HCP100S

Sattelite for Spetrum radios:

I bougth the Redcon CM921S 2.4G DSM2 DSMX Satellite Receiver from Banggood:

http://www.banggood.com/Redcon-CM921...p-1052376.html

In order to save space and weight, and to be able to fit inside the canopy more easily I simply removed the casing, put on a shorter wire (from Hawk RC) and mounted it on top of the main board with double sided tape. Total weight incl tape is then 2.0 grams

Default Binding and placing the SAT

Binding the SAT:

I bound it to the DX8 transmitter using a BD3SX FBL controller and the "bind" function. I then copied the model memory, but it turned out I had to re-bind to the new model memory also.

I could not get it to bind using DSM2, only DSMX.

Edit: I found out why - you must set the TX to either DSM2 or DSMX beforehand.

Placing the SAT:

I first thought this would be nice, but you can't get the canopy on then... no go!

I then tried on the underside, but the battery hits the plug... another no go!

So we ended up here

Default Alternate canopy

The Assault 100 canopy from Hobby King is a direct fit. Although it should be mentioned that the stock one seems to stay better in place.

Default Good alternative batteries

The 300 mAh Nano-Tech batteries from Hobby King. Much lighter and better suited for this heli.

More pop with these lighter batteries, but I do think it ended up being even harder to fly. It's too much on the wild side and hard to control.

But fun of course! OTOH the XK K110 is for me a much much better trainer thanks to it's stability.
