This is just a stock photo of an EXI, but you get the idea. Although EXI's are now shipped with the one piece gear.

On backwards? That just seems wrong to me.

Of course I'm kind of an old fart - kids walking around with the crotch of their pants at their knees and shoes untied always seemed wrong too.

What do I know.

you might be thinking of this wrong but its only the plastic gear that goes on reverse the metal skid pipes still face forward for some reason it just gives the heli a cooler look to me and a billion others on this forum haha

Dont get me wrong, It does look odd on some helicopters, I dont think it will look great on this, but Its worth trying hehe.

I like to think of it as a swept wing.

Personally I don't like it, it sits on the ground just fine with the gear in the normal orientation. Plus, my 450 isn't on the ground for long

The backwards gear does make you look like a n00b... Makes some wonder if you even built the heli right! When I see that and don't know the person, I hide behind my car just in case
