Default Who do you go by?

Question.... The manual for the hurricane 425 says that max headspeed is 2905 with a 15t pinion. A 14t pinion will give 2710rpm. I just bought some mavrikk 430mm carbon fiber blades. The little pamphlet that came with them says "maximum permissible rotational speed of our blades is: over 350mm up to 600mm 2000 rpm". Does anyone know if that is for insurance reasons, or will the blades malfunction in some way? Seems low for a max rpm.

I had a set on my 425 that I was running at about 2600 and I had no problems with them. They flew nice and tracked great until I made an unplanned landing.

I have never used those blades, but I have run cheap Pro 3D FRP, and CF blades on my 425 running a head speed of 3000 with no problems so far. I do however use a cnc head block and cnc blade grips as I don't think the stock plastic ones are rated for 3000rpm head speeds.

I've got Mavrikk G5 Pro Wide Chords on my 550... it's turning between 2600 and 2500 rpm with no issues.

Well I went ahead and bought some align 425d carbon fibers. The back of the box says these ones have a max of 2650 rpm. I've used the mavrikks for setup and trimming....only about 20 minutes of total flying with them. I'll try the align blades and see if there is any diffrence.

I'm flying my 425D's at about 3000 on my 425 with no problems, but make sure your entire head and tail is loctited if youre going to run a high HS like that. I also have the CNC grips and center hub

I never gave a second thought to max rpm of blades. When I opened the mavrikk's there was a little 8x11 paper that listed max speeds for diffrent size mavrikk blades. When I got the align blades it was printed on the back of the box with the chinese writing.
