And no more gear dust. I'm still running one of the rounded-off main gears (plenty of tooth still left and I didn't want to put in a new one until the problem was solved). At this point I'll probably keep this gear on till I...er...execute a figure-9...or she tries to go home to China ;-)

I am still left with a squeaky noise that seems to start after I do a hard collective smack, but then it usually continues. I don't believe it has anything to do with the motor rigidity. I suspect it's something in the tail or canopy vibes - I can hear it better tail-in than nose-in. It's always something...

The Alees 750 sounds like fun! I had that much into my Align 700 by the time I had the vbar, one set of packs and a minimal set of spare parts (which probably still makes the Align cheaper...).

We've had lucky weather in Austin this winter. The arctic air mostly didn't get this far. Yesterday the city was shut down from a Thursday night ice storm, but today it should get into the 60s. But our punishment comes in the summer.

Cheers!
ARe the metal braces across servo still purchaseable?
Cant seem to find them online and helioptions no long exist?

I checked my email history. The url was rchelisolutions.com, which doesn't work anymore. The email address in the email was phenry@rchelisolutions.com.

So I'm guessing it's no longer available. I have seen a similar mod home-made of wood in the past. But the motor mount stiffeners that Align sells will certainly help with frame flex on this bird.
