If you used a credit card you can try doing a charge back.

Last I heard the IRS was after them and they stopped delivering magazines to everyone. Didn't stop them from accepting renewals and taking peoples money though .

Unfortunately they did close and if you paid other than CC, there's no way to get your money back

It seemed to me like a form of media that was past its prime. it could never compete with the info that is available on here.

Thats total BS that they took your money by the way. Sorry to hear that.

I renewed December. Didn't get any new issues of course. Put in the dispute on the CC a few days ago. Case resolved in about 2 days - got my $25 back! ALWAYS use a cc for things like this.

Default So what happened to them

Does anyone know what happened to them?

Did they not pay taxes and get shut down? Was it bad management practices? Did a band of renegade special ops squirrels storm their building and force them to invest in acorns?

I only got 1 issue then they were gone.

The feature article will show how to use acorns as flybar weights.

I get RC Heli pilot which seems good, and low priced, but they have been pushing for advance subscriptions, when my exisitng one still has 9 months to run. I think times are lean for all of them.
I got rotorworld for a while but stopped it in favour of RC Heli : I didn't like the style.

Bummer about RC Heli magazine! It wasn't the greatest magazine (don't they know how to use spell check???), but it was something different to read...

I renewed my digital subscription through Zinio back in November so I could continue to read it on my laptop and iPad. (That's how I've been reading that magazine over the past year.)

It's a good thing that Zinio is a reputable company; they refunded my subscription after I told them that I received zero issues since renewing in November and that RC Heli was out of business. They easily verified that I paid but got nothing, so no problems getting the refund.

If you subscribed through Zinio, contact them through their website and they'll give you your money back...

Default Zinio - Cancelling.

If you have bought RC Heli Magazine through Zinio, log into their website and request to cancel your subscription.

You'll be credited for all undelivered issues.

No problem at all.

Cheers!
