Default New microheli Red swash notchy bearing

Hello everybody
So I got a new MH swash 5 days ago but when I got it in my hands, the bearing and the upper swash felt a little "rough" when being turned. I saw that the bearing was bone dry, so I put some grease on it, it kind of made it better but still a little rough. Is everyone's the same? What do I do next (I hope not start calling MH for customer service)? BTW the heli flies awesome with no vibrations, its nice and smooth with BL conversion. And this swash fixed my shake issues too, so dont know if I should really bother.

Regards
Andrew

Various people have had this issue. They did what you did, a bit of lube and some TLC. Personally, I'd give MH a call or email. During that time, I'd continue to fly with what you've got since it seems to be working.

Anybody with scratchy bearing contact MH and if so what was their response?

Hello, I had the same issue and MicroHeli replaced the notchy swash. I compared heapspeed readings from the old and new swashes: Got the same readings. Also didn't notice any change in flight behaviour between the two (yet?).
Anyway. Many thanks to MicroHeli support who replaced the swash at no cost.

Nice to hear that, after 5 flights on it, I can say it is defenately smoother than at the beginning. Fortunately I put the grease on it before I flew it for the first time so it should break in and be nice and smooth afterwards. I may as well drop an e-mail to MH and have them replace mine, but my location is a big problem and its gonna take ages to get a replacement (sorry it's summer and i cant wait )

As for parts parts availability, if your location is that hard up you should consider purchasing another mcpx for parts. Your going to need them for sure.

The LHS covers the parts availability, its just that every upgrade or BL stuff has to be mailed to me... For parts, my LHS has almost everything and I have more than 1 LHS near me.
