Mode 6.
I will try to do some photos today. No heatsink and no duct in canopy . Yes. You will set Kosmik to mode4 with stick and after that you activate governor store function with progdisc. I do not tried it yet because i want to stay by mode4 currently. |

Thank you Swalko, finally i got to see this bad boy installed. I am expecting mine in a week or so. One question: if you are using mode 4 why do you have a sensor wire installed?

I have a question. Why are you using bullet connectors? Why not use motor wires directly to the kosmik? I would think that would make for a more reliable connection.

On pictures is not used supplied shrink wrap because i was not able to shrink it so nice as i imagine. In my case supplied shrink wrap fit nicely only on the place where i withdrew 3 phase cables together. I always do it this way. If you do soldering right then you will newer have issue with this solution. For me it is more practical (if it will be needed i may swap equipment without modifications) and wires routing was easier too. |

I'm sure it works fine and you have your wires routed the same way I have my TDR wired with the jive. I just thought the beauty of the kosmik was to remove that connection and extra length of wire. I am planning on bolting motor wires directly to the kosmik when mine arrives.

How would you disconnect the motor for routine FBL programming etc? The way im seeing it, you'd need to cut off heat shrink, unbolt, re apply heat shrink, re bolt, and shrink heat shrink each time...

I will just take the blades off in such cases. Once I get my vbar dialed in, I rarely touch it.

I plan on bolting directly too. I never unplug the motor, I just put Hold and switch banks in the soft.

Are the lugs soldered or crimped?

I think I'm still going to use bullet connectors but I may shorten the yellow wires.

Wade through this thread I started some time back asking the same question
https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=439301 It would be nice if it was as easy as the CC logger.
