Default Is any one still flying I2 stuff?

Been out of the game for a while with work and kids and noticed the dust on my blinged out I2 T-Rex. So are uys still flying I2 stuff or is there a new latest and greatest trend?

Not much talk about i2 these days.... They do have a bunch of nice parts for folks flying older models though. (Swappable tail ratio tail box comes to mind).

But, these days when it comes to TREXs, I think most folks are on stock parts, or maybe some KDE upgrades.

I've got a bunch of i2rc stuff on my Trex. Lots of people are still using it. Bob recently came out with an upgraded tail hub. I haven't seen anything specific to the 500L though, and I haven't heard of any real issues with the 500L that needed to be fixed.

I'm flying some I2RC stuff on my T-rex 500. His parts are ALWAYS highest quality. I remember when i found the webpage and was like "Omg i could spend 1000$ here "

Even though I purchased a larger and different model heli my 500 still gets flown the most

I have had such great service and support from I2RC.

I too have an older Trex 500 ESP with the FBL head, boom mount and bottom frame.

The CNC is a work of art, and the head was a marked improvement over my standard head. The boom mount makes for easy gear changes as well.

These pieces are beyond traditional "bling" for blings sake.

I have his tail rotors on both my 550 and 700 with KDE pitch sliders. I get comments on them at the field since it looks like such a trick setup. His tail rotors are bar none the best. Zero slop perfectly smooth high quality machining.

I also run his tail box on my 700. It makes my 700 look a little too blingy but the functionality of the tail box is just outstanding. Being able to swap front tail drive gears in 2 min is just awesome. Unfortunately I'm running slants so I have to pull the main gear as well but it's still much much quicker than pulling the entire tail assembly out like the stock units require.

I have his tail grips on my 500 and customer service is fantastic. I had questions about the tail blade grips and he caught wind of it. He sent me an email explaining the product.

I have tail grips, complete head, tail case and a bunch more.
It looks like jewelry. I haven't flown it yet, because there hasn't been a flyable day in months. The customer service was the best I've encountered. He gave me extra main shafts and bearings, because I had to wait a little longer than expected. I can't wait to try it out once this windy, wet winter lets its iron grip go around late April.
