Default Microbeast plus E-gov

I changed to MB e-gov this week and flew it the first time saturday. I did notice a better governed HS in comparison to the CC setRPM.

From the beginning i set the 160HV edge to Multirotor as this would provide the maximum performance out of the gov, but can come with a risk of overstressing the system.

Now i want to setup a simple Airplane setting with fixed endpoints but i can not for unknown reason get it to work as it does on Multirotor. Even resetting endpoints does nothing. It is like the esc does not arm at all.

Also does the MB put out it's own series of chimes?

Did you completely disable (turn off) the governor function in the MB before attempting to set the end points in the Castle ESC?

Last summer I made the mistake of thinking the governor in my MB Plus Pro had been disabled (it wasn't) and then spent an entire day scratching my head trying to figure out why I couldn't set up the end points in a Castle ESC. It almost drove me nuts... until I rechecked the MB governor setting, disabled it, and was able to quickly setup the end points. Won't do that again!

Also make sure you have a linear (straight) throttle curve in your Tx during end point setup.

Yes, i did. I also figured that one out.
Working on it as we type..

Here's the weird part;
Endpoints on Multirotor in ESC: High 90, low 80
Endpoint in Airplane mode in ESC: High 66, low 46

Can this be normal, looks is loose a lot of resolution on throttle channel.
Nevertheless is do have everything working normal now.
No LED at 0 throttle, Blue in Autorotation, Red in my 3 flight modes and Purple for full throttle.

Bench testing the motor clearly puts out 3 different speeds..

Will shoot Castle a mail also

Do you mean -80 and -46 for low cutoff?

Here's what I get with my DX9 and a Castle Edge Lite 50 ESC on my 450X. On a DX9 Tx, normal throttle range is +100 (high) to -100 (low).

In helicopter mode:
Upper throttle = +98
Low throttle = -86
In airplane mode:
Upper throttle = +73
Low throttle = -61
I haven't tried calibrating or using multi-rotor mode.

The Castle ESC seems to have plenty of resolution either way.

So that actually also says endpointson airplane mode are a lot lower.. thanks.

Don't really understand why but maybe Castle can clarify this.
I guess i just have to fly the thing

Got it setup now and checked it by doing a benchtest running the motor at the 3 different headspeeds and reading off the motor RPM in the Castle log.
According to the V4 BX manual a 50% flat line throttle curve equates to 2000 rpm, the log reads 1990. So i'm set.
