I started this hobby in oct 2010 with an MSR, and have moved a bit too fast. So I am going to back to the basics. I can hover the 120SR in any orientation, but sometimes when making a turn I let it slide. I am working on that.
practice more with the HB FP v2...the 45* flybar on the 120sr makes it feel alot different than a 90* or FBL bird. I almost feel like i always have to fight the stablizing nature of it.

I want to , but all I have is indoors right now. I live in Seattle, so it rains A LOT. It is supposed to be nice on Friday, and that's my first day off from work. I'll get the HB outside and work with it then. I also plan on building a T-REX clone (EXI 450) for practice as well. I have a T-REX 450 Sport, but I don't want to crash it over and over while learning. I figure a clone is better for that.

Thanks for your input, it's greatly appreciated.

Default outdoor flying

Had a chance to get outside and film a couple vids, both ended in a crash but no damage other than a lost link.

Sometimes, but not often

When I first started i read in someones tagline "If you aint crashing, you aint thrashin" so I try to stick to that.

My buddy with the trex landing gear wants to get an mCP X after seeing mine so hopefully I should get some good crash footage of that.

Thanks dude! Yeah I'm using a stock DX6i right now but I've tweaked a few settings and added some mixing.
