Default Going from 3GX to BeastX, anyone mount it under main gear?

Tried out the BeastX in my 500EFL and now want to convert my 450 also BeastX. Anyone else try mounting below the main gear like the 3GX? Any issues with wiring and vibes?

I did. I ground the opening on the bottom plate a little larger to make it easier to program the beast. That was it. Everything else fits well.

Never thought about mounting it there... what are the benefits? why not just mount it over the boom support? It would make programming easier no?

Honestly for looks and cleanliness. My 3gx is well hidden and I don't have the jumbled mess of wires hanging out the k like most 450 heli do. One other supposed benefit is it's perfectly in the center of the heli which is supposed to give better readings for the MEMs units. I also think there's less vibes there as it's not above the boom mount which picks up vibes from the torque tube.

I chose to mount mine in this location for several reasons, but mainly for how clean it can make it. I'm also pretty sure that there are less vibes in this location when compared to the anti-rotation bracket.
