High cyclic gain. Any advantage?

After the expenditure of hundreds of dollars (and hours, I think), I've finally got the 130 flying very smoothly. So smoothly, as a matter of fact, that I can crank the cyclic gains up to +8 without wobble (currently running +6)

This is I think, mostly a result of running brand new servos along with a rebuilt 3in1 with a much better BEC (Thanks, Coredump!).

My only question is, is there any advantage to doing so? I've been flying since day 1 (literally, had one of the first ones delivered) and have ramped gains as low as -5 to the current +6 and don't notice a heckuvalot of difference (wobblewise, yes. flightwise, no).

(on the minus side, tail gain seems stuck at about 0 even with a ds35 and all the little tricks (sliders, tailboxes, balancing, etc). Probably limited by the mechanical gain of the system? Might try one of the center bearing mods to see if that helps)
