Awesome, Is there any kind of agenda or is it free flight all day? The Columbus Aero site is sort of lacking on info.

Will there be sponsored pilots there ?

Sponsored pilots aplenty. Compass will have Dave Ketelhut, Caleb White and possibly Tony Whiteside. There will likely be others. I'm not a team pilot, but plan on flying hard. Come and enjoy!

What a blast that was! I met some of the nicest people there today. Watching the factory pilots was humbling to say the least!

NOOOOOOOOOO!

We will definitely have to get together again. Sorry I left so soon, but I felt like a cooked lobster.

PS. What is Caleb's last name (from Compass)?

Caleb White

I filmed this with a point-n-shoot Kodak camera at high noon, so I couldn't even see the LCD screen. I just used the force, but it isn't terrible, all considering.

Looks like a great event! Too bad it fell on a day I already had to much planned.

Great event, despite the heat. Great people, fun times. Hope to see some of you at Mid America this weekend. Too bad David Ketelhut had 7HV problems or he would have stole the show... he runs it so insanely!

Thanks DaddyB (What was your name? You the one who asked if you could film? Thanks for posting)
That was Kevin's ElyQ, first time I tried it.... nice and smooth, but needs a slight boost in power, IMO. LMAO... in video quote: "balls size of church bells"... appropriate.. my family's business deals with those bells and produces automation equipment to ring them . I'm not really that gutsy... i've seen bigger in this hobby, lol.

Yeah, that was me, the guy with the Fu Manchu mustache. I figured you were probably taking it easy on the other guy's Heli, lol. After I left, I did some practicing on the sim, and today got the courage to start flying inverted circuits. So, thanks for the inspiration, my flying just took a giant leap forward in badassedness (IMHO).

Default Hey Caleb...

I took a video of the night fly and kinda made it retro. Check it out! The originals were not focused well on the heli but with a little effect it turned out kinda cool...

Tony Whiteside: [YOUTUBE][ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPDf4QIDq48[/ame]

Great job to all the pilots
