I think it's a typo, because printed on the motor is 960KV not 690KV.

It also says 960kv on the photo description of the motor, despite having 690 at the top/title. Definitely a typo

They didn't do anything to the frame. The Frame is identical to the 550L Dominator. But yes it's a slide in tray, just like the 550L.

The box lid says 200g lighter: http://www.aligntrexstore.com/T-REX-...ON_p_4587.html

But to be honest I cant see where it's come from either. Maybe 75g at the most saved on the canopy, a few grams on the tail boom, maybe a few grams on the ESC but it's hard to see how it could be much more than 100g lighter?

The frames are different. Look closely to the 550L and then compare.
Cut outs are much bigger. And they removed some plastic mold at the back where the tail servo fits. Battery tray has holes in it. Front receiver mount has allot more holes in it as well. The whole rear boom mount seems to be redesigned to reduce weaight, it has 4 mounting bolts now instead of 6 like on the 550L...+canopy

Just a few things I noticed looking at the pictures.
