Default No response from rudder servo?

on my x7 I have the vx1e, its been flying great with no issue. then today I go to fly, I spool up, get it about 3-4 feet in the air then with no input from me it goes into a right rudder piro. scared the CRAP out of me. so as I stand there trying to figure out whats going on I give left rudder, no response, right rudder no response. I got as close to the ground as I could then hit TH, it stops piroing and I manage to get it down safely. when I got home I took a tail servo from my rush 750 to see if it was the servo but to my surprise the good servo did not responed in the vx1e either. so I took it back out put it in the rush 750 vx1e it worked fine. could the rudder function of the vx1e be bad?

That's pretty strange, it does sound like a fault, and you don't see them often.

What are your tail servo settings on this VX1e? Are they definitely correct for the servo, and do both servos use the same settings?

Did you get any response at all, either from moving the sticks, or rotating the helicopter?

very strange indeed. I've been flying this unit and servos since june with no issues whatsoever. it's a protek 250t(1520) the other I checked was a rjx(760). I made sure the settings where correct. there was no response at all.

I think for this one, open a ticket with Angelos. It's rare to see failures of a Vortex, but that does sound like there's a fault with the rudder servo port.
