Default New Phoenix Social group

It appears Dood has parted ways with HF and killed the PSG. So I have started up one to replace it. Join up and lets continue with where we left off.

Yep, works just fine. I need to get back on with you guys sometime. My flying has improved considerably since the last time; maybe I can actually fly low.

Experience is something you gain only after you need it.
I wouldn't mind social media so much if it didn't involve people.

you see that logo? See what it says on the bottom?

"Fun, Friendship, Learning, and Mutual Respect"

I'm still a member of HeliFreak. How does saying "Good Riddance" apply to any of HeliFreak's core values?

I don't post on HeliFreak much, thats my choice. Im still a member here, I never left.
Since I don't come here every day, I wanted someone else to take over the PSG. I decided I wanted HFG to take over a month ago.

I asked a forum admin to see if there was a way to change the ownership, giving HFG the ability to keep the top page up-to-date with links & news.

Looking for a way to try and change PSG moderator rights myself, I came across the "delete group" button. From there its a Yes or No mouse slip away, and the rest is history. For that I apologize. Fortunately not much is lost.

That's the sort of response I would expect from someone who only knows one side of the story. Thanks for providing your side, Dood! I figured it must have been a personal choice, considering that I never saw anything negative in your post history to warrant something like a banning or even indicating any hard feelings.

How does one go about joining this "social" group. I sure could use some insider help getting going with this software.

Just click "GROUPS" from the main menu bar, then find the Phoenix group and hit join.

I just ordered Phoenix to see what all the fuss was about. I have joined the group as well. I hope it arrives before Santa Does.

Default Using SKYPE with online session.

Hi,
I haven't seen this mentioned so thought I would. Myself and a friend, across the country, have been using Phoenix for a year now. We found that we can use skype, with or without a headset, to talk while flying together on a public or private session. Although Phoenix may not be perfect in all respects it is a lot of fun.
