Have you tried the modified firmware I attached above? As said, I suspect an overflow in JLog.
No, I didn't have time yet:rolleyes:

I suppose until then I can play with the gear ratio in the jlog until it shows right rpm.

Not sure if it is a systematic deviation. Try.

Well.., as said: I do not have an OPTO. The structure of the data sent by an OPTO is different from that of a MEZON with BEC. Originally I did not know that there is a difference in data structure and so I implemented it afterwards and blind and somebody from the users here in this board stated: Okay. He is from Norway I believe.

I should have had a deeper look into the setup of a MEZON..
Only in mode "NORMAL" we can work with 2-pole-normalized rpm and so convert rpm motor and rotor afterwards in JLog (setup in JLC) - and have both values in log and telemetry.

Only.., a helicopter needs to use "CONSTANT RPM" - but CONSTANT RPM creates limits for "poles" and "ratio" by "maxrotorRPM".

This it ends up in using real values for poles and ratio in the MEZON setup and to set poles=2 and ratio=1:1 in JLC. Con is that rpmMotor from JLog will also show rpmRotor.

Thought to have given the final answer (which is a solution), two months ago, almost three.
