Default My BigBlock Trex 600 Nitro Pro project..

Well my Trex 700N was a little much on fuel so I sold it to build this project which ive been wanting to do for a few years now, even sold my old Spectrum DX7 just to buy my first brand new radio.I guess you can say im starting all over with brand new everything other then the motor that I just rebuilt with new ring and bearings along with the pipe and Vbar V5.3 .My flying buddy has a few with OS 70's and YS 91SR's in 600N's.Flown them a few times and was hooked but never had the $$ to build one, well now is my time .I have a older Trex 600N sport I was going to do this with but got a hell of a deal on a brand new never flown Trex 600 Nitro Pro..Well heres whats going on it ,still waiting on the 600N Pro and other parts to show up..

Trex 600 Nitro Pro
Few Canomod canopys
Spectrum DX7S
Vbar V5.3
Trex 600 FBL head with KDE head block
Align DS610 cyclic servos
Futaba BLS254 tail servo
Align DS650 throttle servo
Upgraded Align metal fan
Upgraded Lynx heavy duty clutch shoe
Upgraded Lynx heavy duty clutch liner
Thumb screw Canopy mounts
Rebuilt YS 91ST with Funtech pipe

Heres the ad I bought and yes,I screwed up and bought ANOTHER Align metal fan .Its all good because i'll use it on the other 600N..
Heres the ad I bought and will post pics when I get it,had them on my phone but deleted them ..Hope everything is here by middle of this week so I can maiden it by the weekend ..

So you had a .90 heli and didn't like the cost of fuel. So you put a .90 motor in a 600? My guess would be that fuel cost would be similar...

Heres some what how i'll be flying the BB 600N.Was a new motor so didn't beat it up too bad..

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbiHsW-OGns[/ame]

My buddy is useing a SR in his and i'll be useing the ST but I plan on sticking a SR 3DS in it down the road. The YS 91SR 3DS is what I had in my Trex 700N and its way more powerfull over the ST/SR ..
Airframe will be here Tuesday and once I get back in town (family member passed) ,im letting my buddy work his magic on the install of the motor ..

What's the main reason for doing this?

I get 9 minutes on easy 3D wit power to spare..

I build mine just for the fun of it.!!!
And more power.
Not that I needed it or could use it all.
For the same reason that you Hot Rod / modify a car.

I just recently put a ys91st into my 600n (a month ago) and it has been a good experience over all. Started with flybar and then put a DFC head and beastx on it last week. That made all the difference! SO much FUN now. I can run as much pitch and cyclic as I want and does not bog. I get about 5.5 minutes with no header at 2300 rpm. Do it! And let's see some pics.

Im going to hold off on doing mine until my buddy has time to mod my heli and motor.Going to finish the season off with a 50 size motor and do the BigBlock mod during winter. He can do it in 2 months but its my only heli right now and I wanna fly, don't wanna have it down for 8 weeks..I'll leave this open and post some videos of his once hes able to go out..
Will put all my upgraded heavy duty parts away until the time comes..
