Are any of you guys planning on removing the boom for transportation?

It looks like you will have to loosen two bolts and fully remove four bolts plus a ball link. It does not seem too bad.

You could even remove the blades with another two bolts, should not take more than like five minutes to get it back together.

Mine is going to be transported in a Suzuki Ignis.. is a real tight fit, with the tail in between the 2 front seats.. if it doesnt fit, ill have 2 options, 1: deassemble, 2: put wheels under the skid and make a ball coupler to the tail fin, yes, the Ignis has a tow hook

I have no idea how mine is going to fit in my truck when this thing is built. Just picked it up from the post office and the box alone takes up the WHOLE back seat!

Mine fits perfectly in the back of my lx570, it fits with about 6" of room in the back seat of my wife's dodge 3500. Funny thing is it fits perfect in my MG with the top down and the passenger seat back. It looks pretty funny I must say
Just make sure you put it on your house insurance in case something happens during transport.

Would you happen to know if the Xxtreme will fit in the trunk of a full size sedan with the boom coming into the passenger compartment? I'm worried about the height from landing skip to the top of the rotor head.
