my LHS had some Dubro red servo horns for the Hitec 5065mg. I purchased them and they are quite flexible one way, but not so flexible the other way (in a rotational arc) I've had one light crash on them back when I was flybar and they did the job. I'm still on the same servo's and gears now that I am flying with BeastX and a DFC head. These servo horns are literally 1mm thin.

These are it. Just cut to size. Another plus for these is that they are thin enough to use a nut behind the ball.

You might think those breakaway servo arms will flex in flight but I watched a video of a guy that mounted a camera under his heli to where you can see the servo arms react in flight and there wasn't any amount of bending or flexing that I could see... and I believe he was "tossing it around"

They dont flex in flight. Super fast tic tocs can be done with these servo horns and still feel locked in.

I've used every brand of micro servo out there. Trust me, higher cost doesn't mean they're going to perform or last any better just because you spent more on them (95s are nice but vastly overpriced). I still crash on a very regular basis (always trying to push the limits) and using breakaway servo horns is probably the best thing I've invested money in. Add them to your machine and you'll see a sharp reduction in the damage to your servos.

I have found that the kst main srevo gear snaps very easy...

I run the tgy306hv's and the stock main gear is much stronger than any replacement I have found....I was using metal servo arms and the stock 306's gears lasted over two dozen crashes...

They don't make replacement gears for them but the KST gear set is a perfect fit....Problem is the main gear shaft breaks on at least one servo in every crash now..

so I am now using the breakaway servo arms..

I have the same exact experience!

I purchased a bunch of KST replacement gear sets only to use the one main output shaft gear as that always seems to shear off in a crash. Sometimes, the output shaft bearing gets destroyed as well so I am forced to replace the entire servo.
