Default Walkera 22e Rx problems........

I'm using the stock Walkera 22e Rx, and i'm having problems getting the tail rotor to spin propperly. It seems to want to spin in pulses, what I mean is it speeds up then slows down in pulses making it wanna spin oddly.

I actually got it to hover (my first hover) but it wants to spin gently. When the main motor isn't connected it seems to rotate fine and the gyro functions correctly, but when I have the main motor connected it acts like it's taking power from the tail motor or causing power to fluctuate in pulses to the tail.

Do I need to adjust the gyro pot? Has anyone else had problems like this?

I was pretty happy to see that the head I assembled is working good, that heli went straight up into the air, but then it started to spin as the smile left my face.

Brandon,
Yes it sounds like a gyro adjustment is needed. Although the 22 is not my specilty, general heli knolage says to check the gyro gain. Simply try increasing or decreasing in small incraments untill you find a happy medium.
I also notice your earlier post went unanswered,,, because the walkeras are not real popular here on HF (I'm guessing). You may want to try out a new forum gaining members and becomming quite a Walkera spot- http://rcfriends.createforum.com/forum.html
New members always welcome.
Regards,
Rob.

Thank you, i'll try doing that.
Yeah, it doesn't seem like Walkera Products are too popular here.
