Default Trex 450 at Sears

Has anyone seen how much Sears wants for the Align 450 Plus DFC BNF?

They want $1483 plus $23 for shipping!! Another website had it for under $400 with free shipping.

What the heck is wrong with Sears? It looks like they are trying to copy Amazon.

2,200 for 450L. But you save 1,900$!! And that doesn't include TX or lipo. Lol.

Now that's what I call saving!

Really? Sears? Forgetting about price, I didn't believe you guys that Sears was selling these until I clicked through!
Something just isn't right about this, but I have no rational reason why!

I saw similar on Walmart.com. Prices about 3 times what your average cost is over the usual suppliers. Nothing about it makes sense. A new set of gears for my DS416M servo for $40 lol...

And here's a Dominator for $630 from "wondertrail.com." Looks like Sears is pimping for other companies, trying to be like Amazon, but...

Oh how the mighty have fallen. 100 years ago Sears was THE name in mail-order retail. 50 years ago their catalog was still a contender. 30 years ago their Craftsmen brand was still a standard. Now this. Kinda sad, really, but times change, I guess. Too bad Sears couldn't make the transition, from pulp catalog to web catalog--not really that big a step.

I remember Sears always being more than anyone else for the exact same item. And if you were really nuts, you could purchase their "maintenance agreement" and get screwed out o a bit more cash.
