vibration and wobble
I know this has been addressed and I have read the threads on this issue with the mcpx v2. I have a brand new feathering shaft in it brand new blades put on a brand new main gear the old one had a crack in it I noticed. It will idle up and take off smooth as silk than as I fly it a bit it develops a tail vibration than starts a pretty good wobble. Than it seems like it goes away for a little bit than returns throughout the whole life of battery.Main shaft is ok and I am constantly making sure the main gear is pushed up in place any other ideas. Someone told me this is just the way they are and get used to it and just fly it. This is my first mcpx v2 wanted something to keep my flying up in the winter.

Could be a loose tail boom or cracked main shaft

Hey jon jet how are you doing been awhile. Just got this mcpx v2 its a blast to fly just need to get it figured out. I think that will be my next thing im just going to get a new main shaft and put it on because have done everything else. I have been thinking of going to the longer tail boom also. I have it flying and handling really nice on the dx6i. Its just crazy cause it wont show up till you have been flying it for awhile. Then it starts in the tail vibrating before you know it the whole thing is wobbling.

It could be any number of things, but take the head off and stick your Xacto knife inside the shaft and rotate slightly to see if it's cracked.
Solid shafts are the cat's meow Blades too tight? Try the BLH3602L for the tail |

I have the blades so they move freely so pretty loose but try and get it to where theres not much play between blades and grips so they arent flopping around. I will take the main shaft out maybe I will just replace it with a solid one. That's a good idea jon jet.

Thank you jon jet I will give that a go with the solid main shaft. What do you think of the longer tail boom does it make it a little more stable. The thing pretty doggone stable right now for sure.

Could be dirty servos. One of my V1's and my V2 went through it. I cleaned the tracks and fingers in all the servos and they both flew great for a whil . The wobble came back on the V2 so I pulled the servos again and one was a mess again. Recleaned and both have been great since.

Best servo cleaner I've ever used:
Deoxit D5 from Radio Shack...no need to take them apart... Spray - move the sticks - fly ! |

Just took one servo apart really wasn't very black or dirty at all so not going to do others just yet. I did read someone put on the high speed props with the points and that took away the head wobble and flew about half battery than tail did start its vibration but heli did not go into wobble like it was with stock blades on. Wonder if those blades are balanced better or something. Wobble is gone but still have tail vibration after flying a bit.
