Default To fly or not to fly, on these blades...

would you fly on these blades or not worth it?

one blade has a few surface cracks around the mounting bushing in the blade. here are a few pictures.

I would definitely not fly those. You are not sure how deep those cracks go, and if the blade is weakened structurally. And yes, I would say 60 bucks is a good deal.

Default thank you :)

Thanks for the input, I have a guy at my local R/C shop that wants to sell me his old halo blades, so i will most likely pick those up and feel more safe when i go to spool this thing up for the first time.

better to be safe , then sorry

you didn't say what size they are but even $100 i know sucks but its worth that to be safe. most 325/425 blades are pretty cheap

No, I have not even got to fly the dam thing yet, taking things very slow and checking everything on it. I bought it used on ebay for 500 bucks and it came this way. the guy said to check the blades before flight...

I have my 300 CFX I've crashed at least 10 times now to keep me busy till i get this one working.

Are the blades that i have all carbon fiber or just on the part that says 3d? they feel very heavy but they are the only blades i have handled in 700 mm size so i don't know the difference.

i checked on-line and the halo blades my r/c shop guy wants to sell me go for around $128 new, so sounds good to me.

i never tried Halo blades, and yes the pro 3d are cheap blades.
I have flown Zeal, Revolution, align , thunder power, Rails.
i am not that great of a pilot so they all fly well. I do think the Rails are quieter and might be a little more stable.

Default New blades

Thanks for all the input guys, ended up just getting a new set of 700 mm blades. After checking them out found my old blades must have been 710 mm you can also see they are a bit bigger and have a different cg when hanging by mounting hole.
