they can handle 333hz but ive never used a fbl that made me specify cyclic frequency, only tail. center pulse is 1520. it has the same parts as the 515, 525, and 535. only the gears are different, motor as well for the older 6v max servos. the boards have a different layout but i dont see much difference at a glance, probably just a few resistor values for the higher voltage.

Thanks for that will try 333mhz it insists on frequency in setup .
I fried an emax on my other heli having frequency to high so didn't want to chance it

Brain/iKON lets you select cyclic servo frequency. I have always used 250Hz on all digital servos and never had an issue.

DS530M are much improved over the 515. Much more powerful motor, improved PCB design (not just changing a few resistors...? That's not how electronics work lol), better back EMF filtering, and better cooling to motor from the machined case. Not to mention HV.

Higher voltage using the same controller ic not much there. That emf backfilter shit? bigger tantalum cap. Scope it theyre about the same.

Youre right, what i should have said is that there are only minor differences. Some ppl think those 2 volts make such a huge difference. The fins? Honestly you cant think one more square inch of surface cooling makes a noticeable difference in performance. I have 2 and everything i can do on the new one i can also do on the old. 530 is a slightly tweaked design not a revolution. youre overselling it.
