Default newbie from down under

g'day, im relatively new to the hobby having cut my teeth and couple fingers on coaxial helis, worked my way up thru fixed pitch and those awesome v911,s and have started adding to the stable with an align 500 trex ex, trex 450pro and gaui 225. huge learning curve and hope to learn lots from your online community. also very much into drones and hope to get into something like a phantom quadcopter in due course. have plans to build an awesome test/practice platform which will be quite different plus a custom helipad as the ground hereabouts can be quite unsuitable. cheers alan

At least you shouldn't be short on flying space out there though I guess flies could be a problem

lol true, the flies are a big problem. plenty space for sure, just difficult with rocky ground and millions of spinifex grass for nice landing spot but am finding suitable locations. looking forward to doing some camera footage out in the range country with the drones, will be spectacular. alan
