Default Bell mixer upgrade help

Hi Guys, by now you know I'm a NOOB to this lot, so if some one can direct me to where I can find this info out.
I'm a bit confused on the amount of hardware that has come with my Bell mixer upgrade kit, it looks as if its got some thrust bearings in with the shims and washers ect. Where do those thrusts go.
I only had the upgrade because the store did not have the original plastic ones in and I couldn't wait
Kit # EFLH1182

Cheers
Kev

They go in the blade grips, on the outside. So the screw and washer that go in the spindle hold them into the grip. Usually there's an in and out on the thrust washers, so make sure they go in the right way. If you slide the washers onto the spindle, one will feel like it's loose and can wiggle and one won't. The one that doesn't goes to the outside. Then again, may not be the case with this particular setup, but just in case . Usually easiest way to do it is put a bit of thread lock on the screw, put it into the spindle, put a greased thrust bearing assembly on, slide into the grip, then any spacers/shims, damper, head and vice versa for the other side. Hope that helps.

Danno, thanks for the info, now I've opened the packet I've found the installation instructions. Thanks again.

No prob, saw your post while I was twiddling my thumbs at work. Have fun, that upgrade (along with the remaining aluminum head parts) tightens up a lot of the slop in the SR head.

All back together and ready for flight. Just tried a hover in the lounge but not happy with the area I have, seems to lift ok.
