Default Electric Motor Bearings

Can someone tell me how to oil the bearings on an electric motor w/o taking the motor off? Basically, I don't know where the bearings are in order to oil them, and I'm not sure what kind of oil to use.

what motor are you running?

I run a Scorpion 4020-910, and there is one at the top of the can, and one at the bottom. Scorpions bearing lube kit comes with a needle tip you can slide that in the vents at the top of the can to get the bearing (if you look close, you should be able to see it.) also depending on how your motor is mounted you should be able to apply a drop to the bearing by where the shaft comes out of the motor too.

As for oil, I like using Tri-Flo for general-purpose oiling, including bushings and bearings.

Experience is something you gain only after you need it.
I wouldn't mind social media so much if it didn't involve people.

I replaced my bearings in my Scorpion motors with ceramics from Bocabearings.com.
I don't worry about oil.
