Default 100% Bell Gain bad? Flies great!

Hi

With automatic bell gain tuning the elevator value reaches 100% but my Soxos flies great. Is there any need to reduce bell gain anyway?

Cheers
Nils

With a high bell you are asking too high of roll/flip rate that your Heli is capable of. Lower your rates and your self tune bell will not adjust so high.
There are several tributing factors to the bell gain, and this also includes your flying abilities.
Set you gains to default, and do a self tune flight, if your bell still goes up to 100, lower your flip and roll rates.
Your setup affects the bell as well. Geometry, pitch, cyclic, ect.
There is a ratio to stay close to. But in reality you can set your bell at any rate as you want.
There are a few guys here in the Sk threads that can help alot. But this is what I understand.
I'm sure if you do a search several threads will pop up I asked this question not too long ago.

Its an indication that your elevator control rates are higher than what the model can deliver. It could be the head speed is too low, the cyclic pitch isnt high enough, blade style (wide vs narrow chord, length) or a host of other reasons why the model cant mechanically achieve the rates you have requested of it.

It's pegging the bell gain wide open trying to compensate for the lack of response on that axis vs. what is being requested
